Sally Bolderson: Bio

Sally is a "senior citizen" when it comes to the contemporary (Catholic) music scene. She has been a music minister since she was 13 years old, singing and playing her guitar anywhere God led her. It's only in the last 15 years (or since Pope John Paul II came to St. Louis in 1999) that she became aware of and immersed in the contemporary Christian music. Jesus and her music are her passion! Songwriting is a new avenue that God has chosen to take Sally. Since her participation with the "Christ Renews His Parish" retreat in her parish of Holy Trinity, she has found a new awareness of her love for her God and in opening her heart and ears, has found the words and music to write songs that speak of her relationship with God and in turn, His people.

She is married with 3 children (if you can call 33, 31 and 29 children). You will find Sally primarily ministering at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in St. Ann, Missouri playing with a contemporary band at the 10:30 am mass each Sunday.

Musically, she sang with a wonderful group of friends in a band called "Dayspring" until life (primarily marriage and babies) took priority and "Dayspring" disbanded. It was a wonderful ministry while it lasted singing at various events throughout Missouri and Illinois. That time helped Sally grow in confidence and in the basic knowledge of such things as what wire gets plugged into the microphone and which one goes to the monitors! But in all truthfulness, it was a time of spiritual growth where she found out how loving and forgiving our God is!
